DR. Emerick Discusses COVID-19 with TCSD Administrators

Local Pediatric physician, Dr. Emerick, was gracious to spend part of his evening  Monday night to  hold a Zoom Meeting with Superintendent Dr. Danny Glover and Safety  Director Kristina Anderson.  Then spent over 30 minutes discussing COVID-19 and it's effect on students.  Dr. Emerick presented the pros and cons of kids wearing masks, people getting vaccinated and other items of interest.  Superintendent Glover later remarked that he thinks this video chat will go a long way in helping parents to understand COVID-19 and calm some of their fears related to it.  You can watch the whole video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PxgZN6IrHg .  Once again TCSD would like to thank Dr. Emerick for giving up part of his evening to help the district, parents and the community to better understand COVID-19.  If you need more information about what the Taylor County School District is to help insure the safety or our students and staff please call the district office at 1-850-838-2500.
