TCHS Bulldogs Football Team Honors Cycless

Cycless and TCHS Football Team

Last night at the Taylor County High School Homecoming games was a special day for Cycless Gorlewski.  He is the biggest Taylor County Bulldog fan in the world.  He has a captivating smile and enthusiasm for football and life that draws people in.  The Taylor County High School football team has been captivated by Cycless, and wanted to do something special for him, because he inspires the team to be more!  Coach Metcalf, TCHS Football team coach, went to the Santa Fe High School football coaches and to the officials before the game and asked if they would be ok with our seniors pushing him across the goal line for a 2-point conversion, and they all agreed.  Ja'veion Harris pushed him across the goal-line, while the rest of the TCHS Football team seniors escorted him in. It was a great display by both teams, and something everyone in  Taylor County at Santa Fe High School will remember for years.  Coach Metcalf remarked later, “This is a perfect example of what we teach our players daily:  that football is more than winning games; it's about teaching young men how to become men.  Our team motto is ‘One Love’ and it is all about family.  Cycless is and will always be a part of that family!”
