TCMS Grades, Homework Available Online

Ever wonder if your child is really telling the truth when they say they don't have any homework tonight? Now all parents of Taylor County Middle School students have to do is turn on the computer to check up on their child's school progress.

Teachers at Taylor County Middle School have signed on to pilot the use of Edline, a complete Internet solution program that serves as a companion web site to the District's web site. This program is a secure and easy way for students and their parents to keep up-to-date by accessing important information and improving communication between school and home. With just the click of a mouse, a parent can use this program to do the following:

  • Check their child's latest grades
  • Receive email alerts when new grades are posted
  • Receive emails with school or class information
  • See what homework their child has not turned in and read notes from their child's teachers
  • View team and club activities
  • Verify attendance
  • And much more...

Taylor County Middle School is the first school in the district to use this program. Parents of TCMS students have received a copy of their child's personal Edline Activation Code that will enable them to check their child's information. If you're a TCMS parent and have not received your code, please send an e-mail message to Priscilla Tripp or call her at 838-2516 and let her know. If you have your code, click here to access Edline.

If the program proves successful at TCMS, the District hopes to eventually implement it at Taylor County High School as well.
